We both started with the same mission - to take a slow, paper-heavy and confusing part of money and make it digital-first and simple. Now Habito’s part of Monzo, we’re working to make the journey to owning a home (and everything after) smoother than ever.
Whether you’re buying a home or looking for a better deal on your current one, our mission hasn’t changed:
Habito brings deep mortgage expertise. Monzo brings simple, empowering digital banking used by millions. Together, we’re building a mortgage experience that feels clear from start to finish.
We’re combining world-class technology from both teams to create a mortgage experience that’s actually built for the 21st century. Think less jargon, less unnecessary paperwork, and a much more intuitive way to manage your mortgage.
This is just the start. We’re building a mortgage experience that’s simpler, clearer and easier to manage - so one of life’s biggest financial decisions feels a lot less overwhelming.
If you’re thinking of getting a mortgage, it’s a good idea to chat to an expert. At Habito, you can do this for free!
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you’re an existing Habito customer, there’s nothing you need to do. And if you’re in the middle of applying for a mortgage, it’s business as usual - you’ll keep the same dedicated expert and case manager.
No. Your mortgage stays exactly the same, including your rate, lender and repayments. Nothing changes as a result of this.

If anything changes, we’ll always let you know.
